The techniques covered during this full day class include how to make and apply the perfect white chocolate ganache foundation, applying a flawless fondant covering with not a crease nor crack in sight and how to achieve beautiful razor-sharp edges to give your cakes a professional finish.
Using edible lustres, I will show you how to achieve an all-over pearl effect before applying a hand-made edible-lace border. We will go on to further embellish the lace with delicate blossom and foliage motif embellishments and piped royal-icing detail.
Finally, we will create an elegant fantasy flower with crystal-edged, individually wired petals and a pearl-encrusted centre to adorn your masterpiece perfectly.
