During this full day class, we use traditional buttercream with a touch of contemporary flair as we discover the art of piping beautiful flowers We will start by discussing essential tools and equipment before making the perfect piping buttercream to withstand every climate. You will learn how to achieve a pleasing colour palette to create monochrome, multi-tone and blended colour techniques, and the various ways to fill your piping bags for effective, efficient results every time.
Using a variety of piping tips, you will learn the basic and intermediate piping techniques required to recreate an abundance of buttercream flowers including Roses, Ranunculus, Peony, Lotus, Daisies and many more! You’ll also get the opportunity to try your hand with the latest ‘all-in-one’ Russian piping tubes, enabling you to pipe beautiful flowers with just one squeeze!
Finally, we will assemble your creations onto 12 large cupcakes or a 7″ Madeira cake, before adding finishing touches including leaves, stamens and piped filler-flowers to really bring your designs to life.
